Notes from the previous owner:
Engine and tonneauWhen Larry bought the car in 2014, he worked on the power train himself over the winter, then sold the car to me in the spring of 2015. I do not have the shop tickets on the work he did pre-sale. However, I do have a full record of the work Cardone & Daughter have done (about $5K there), and another $2K I I do not know about the engine’s history. All I have been told is that this is a “low profile” Plus Four with a TR engine and a Moss 4-speed fitted with Weber dual side-draft carbs.. As for overhaul work, Larry did a fair amount of work on the car himself before selling it to me, but I do not have the work tickets on that. Subsequently, Cardone & Daughter did about $5K worth of work on the car, and I do have all the records on that. I also have recofds of another $2K that went to Larry (mostly for the new tires). On top of that, I put $2K into new leather. Top and side curtains are still serviceable. They still keep out the rain —to the extent that any old Morgans do that. .
